The backstage mode opens the “remote” in a new window leaving the presentation screen in the existing window. It would make much more sense the other way around - the main window might contain additional tabs which should not be visible during presentation. In addition the presentation window is the one you want to move to the external presentation screen.

Thanks for your request! I’ll log this then come back to you in 2 weeks time with a clearer information from our Product Development team.
I too, meet this inconvenience when hosting a presentation, I usually have to drag the presentation tab to a separate window first before dragging it to the external screen so the audience don’t see my other tabs.

I would like to provide you with an update from our team. Although this have yet to be added to our development roadmap for the upcoming year, we do have plans to improve the Backstage within 2025 (which might also adress this idea).
