The note section in backstage is really small, even with the option to scroll. I think the slide can be made smaller to accommodate a larger note section. I am comparing this to Mentimeter’s Mentimote, which functions similar.

This! I wish it were possible (in Backstage) to reduce the size of the image of the slide that is currently on display on another screen, and instead to allow enlarging the size of the Notes field and the font size in the Notes field. I am using my 14.0" laptop for Backstage and my eyes are not as good as they used to be…

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback regarding the note section in Backstage! We’re happy to share that we have already addressed this concern. As of October 30, we’ve updated the layout to provide a larger note section. This improvement should make it more convenient for you to use.
If you have any further suggestions or feedback, feel free to share them with us. We appreciate your input!
Nathan

Backstage is by far the most valuable feature of AhaSlides — it’s the number one reason I decided to pay for the license. As someone who runs interactive, real-time presentations, Backstage allows me to coordinate smoothly with co-presenters, follow my notes, and control the session without disrupting the audience experience.
That said, I’ve noticed a few areas where it could be improved:
The speaker notes area cannot be resized, which limits visibility. I’d love the option to shrink the slide preview and enlarge the notes section for better focus.
YouTube videos embedded in the slides cannot be controlled from Backstage. This is especially problematic when presenting on large external screens — having to move the mouse back to the main presentation just to press play interrupts the flow. Ideally, videos should be fully controllable from Backstage.
Some key controls (e.g., applause, QR code display) still require interaction with the main presentation. It would be great to manage these directly from Backstage, allowing the presenter to operate everything from one interface while the presentation runs on another screen.
Even though it’s still in beta, Backstage is an incredibly promising feature, and I hope the AhaSlides team continues to refine it. I use it regularly, and with these improvements, it would become an essential tool parameter.

Hopefully the remaining comments will be addressed, later. Remote Control is nice but still has way to go:
The overall window layout seems quite inefficient on standard screens (maybe better on mobile, but may main use case is a laptop for presentation)
