Manually remove a person from a quiz

This would allow the quiz host to exclude any participant who is not following the rules, cheating, or disrupting the game. Currently, the only option is to hide the name of the participant, but this does not prevent them from answering the questions or seeing the results. By adding a remove option, the quiz host could have more control over the quiz experience and ensure a fair and fun competition for everyone.

Hi,

Thank you for your comment.

I’ve just checked with our team about this. Currently, there are no immediate plans to build this feature.

However, we recommend keeping an eye on AhaSlides through our social media channels, newsletters, in-app notifications, and official release notes for updates in the future.

Best regards,

Nathan

If I may add, I have noticed sometimes that a participant will get dropped out of the game, either by accidentally hitting the “back button” on their phone or sometimes the game just seems to blip them out. Usually they can re-enter just by using the QR, but sometimes it takes them back to the log-in screen, which then creates an entirely new entry. This means one person has two avatars, one of which is actively losing their team points because one of their avatars isn’t recording answers. I’d like to be able to remove the inactive avatar to keep the scoring proper and fair. Or is their a better solution to this issue?
