Participant authentication via passcode is not unique!

Am a Pro subscription member. The generated unique codes are not unique. Two participants are able to use the same code at a time to login. So, how does this be unique code or secret code? Do anyone else face this issue? Any anonymous user not part of the group is able to access & participate in my session. In the pricing, its a key diffentiator between essential plan & pro plan. What is the purpose of paying more?

Hi Raja. Celine from AhaSlides here. I’m sorry to hear about this issue. It’s definitely not how the access codes are supposed to work… Could you send an email to hi@ahaslides.com with the link to the presentation where this happened? We’ll look into it right away!

Hi,
It happened for this slide.

I generated 3 codes today just before i mailed you.

Tested with the first one 20602045 from 2 different mobiles and I was able to login from both at the same time and attend the session.

I have a session tonight at 9PM. Would appreciate it if you could fix it ASAP and reply to me. Will be great if you can call me and inform me .

Thanks for sharing, Raja. We’re on it!

Hey Raja. We’re still investigating and probably won’t have a definite answer before your 9PM session. Sorry :frowning:

This could be a random one-time glitch. Please do another test with a fresh set of codes. Alternatively, would requiring participants to log in work for this event?
