It seems, that Ahaslides predetermines the time limit according to amount or text size of options. However, especially with non-native speakers it would be nice to overall increase the time limit for all slides.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your submission! Just to understand your request better, do you mean when editing the presentation, there’s a quicker way to apply a time limit of 60 seconds for example, to all slides in that presentation?

At the moment, you can apply a time limit to each slide, but not to all or multiple slides at once. We assume each slide has a different context, thus different time limit settings.

Cheers,

Duke

Sorry for the late answer, I didn’t get a notification for your reply (I have to check settings). There seems to be an algorithm which decides how long the limit is. Probably by type, amount and length of answers. The problem usually arises when I present the question and see, that most haven’t answered, yet. So I see the following options:

1. Option to manually prolong the running answering time (maybe to the left of the stop button while hovering over it)

2. Maybe show a button “prolong” automatically when less than 50% have answered? Or simply automatically prolong 5-10 seconds?

3. Global option for the complete slide deck to use longer answering times (by manually adding 10 seconds to existing slides or defaulting to a longer time)
