_A new slide type, live now for everyone: your audience rates a handful of criteria on their phones, and the room’s average for each one appears on a live spider chart._

A single poll tells you part of the story. Ask a team “how are we doing?” and you get one number, when the real answer is that communication is fine, workload is not, and nobody is quite sure what the goals are this quarter.

Radar is built for that kind of question.

### 🕸 What Radar does

Each spoke of the chart is one thing you want rated, such as _Communication_, _Workload_ or _Ease of use_. Everyone scores every spoke on the same scale from their phone and submits once. The chart on the big screen plots the room’s average for each spoke and updates in real time as ratings come in.

Strong areas stretch towards the rim, weak spots pull in towards the centre, and the gaps are obvious at a glance. There are no right answers, no points and no leaderboard: it is there to show the room what the room thinks.

### ⚙ How to set it up

1. **Add the slide:** in the editor, click **New slide** and pick **Radar** from the **Unscored** section.
2. **Ask one clear question:** for example, _“How is our team doing this quarter?”_
3. **Add 3 to 8 dimensions:** type your own, or describe a topic under **Suggest with AI** and let it suggest them for you. Five or six short, distinct labels read best.
4. **Pick a scale:** **1–5** for a quick gut check, or **1–10** or **0–100%** when finer differences matter. The same scale applies to every dimension.
5. **Compare, if you like:** add up to **3 subjects** (two product ideas, or this sprint against last) and each one draws its own coloured outline on the same chart, so the differences stand out.

Then click **Preview** to try the presenter chart and the participant screen side by side before you go live.

### 💡 Where it works best

- **Team health checks:** rate _Communication_, _Workload_, _Clarity of goals_, _Collaboration_ and _Morale_, then talk about the spoke that pulls in furthest.
- **Retrospectives:** put _This sprint_ and _Last sprint_ on one chart and see what actually improved.
- **Session reviews:** close a workshop by rating _Content_, _Pace_, _Relevance_ and _Trainer_.
- **Product feedback:** let AI suggest the criteria for your new product and have beta users rate each one.
- **Skills self-assessments:** learners rate their confidence in each skill at the start of a course, then again at the end.
