I have literally years of old decks and zero desire to rebuild them from scratch. Can you upload existing PowerPoint files into AhaSlides or do you have to start blank there? I also saw something about “syncing” somewhere, does that mean if I edit the PPT later it just updates in AhaSlides too?

yep you can just upload a .pptx or event pdf and it brings your slides in. Just hit the import button. Heads up it converts your slides into images so any animations/transitions won’t carry over. Didn’t bother me much tbh, AhaSlides has enough of its own interactive stuff that I just used those instead of missing the animations
on the sync thing - yes that has been added recently I thịnk, but it only works with Google Drive right now (saw coming soon on OneDrive). Connect a file from your drive and edits to the original get pulled into AhaSlides automatically. Only goes one way tho (drive file → AhaSlides), so stuff you change inside AhaSlides won’t push back to your original file
this has saved me so much time on a deck I update every month, I just need to edit the master file in Gdrive now
