# Is it possible to add the hints to the "Type Answer" quizes?

I could definitely use this: for example, when reviewing grammar, I could hint that the phrase the students are completing/writing is an example of a specific tense or conditional i.e. “this is an unreal situation, so we use past tense”

Thanks for your feedback!

While we have yet to have a hint function for the Short Answer (previously known as “Type Answer”) slide, you can use the “Add a longer description field” as a way to show hints to participants:
