ok I keep seeing the AhaSlides add-in on their site but never actually installed it. What does it even do? Can you present from inside PowerPoint with it or does it boot you out to a browser? Someone who actually uses it day to day, talk me into it
just open the add-in tab on your Powerpoint, search for AhaSlides and sign in, it lets you drop in AHA slides (polls, quizzes, word clouds, few other types) right between your normal ppt slides. When you hit present your audience joins on their phone with a code, no browser switching needed on your end
been using it for our weekly team syncs for a while now, honestly the best part is just not having to alt-tab between PowerPoint and a browser mid-presentation. sounds small but it’s the thing that actually got me to keep using it
heads up, it only works with the desktop app — if you’re using PowerPoint online it won’t work, learned that the hard way before a meeting lol. Pretty smooth on my laptop tho once it’s set up
